Can You Explain Your Business in 1 Minute?

If You Can’t Explain It in a Minute, You Don’t Know It.

Here's today’s newsletter wrapped in a challenge: If you can't explain it in a minute, do you even know what you're doing?

Yes, I’m exactly talking about an elevator pitch for your business.

Your business can be anything in this entire goddamn world, it can even be as crazy as asking people to signup for a 10% off on the new branding e-book release.

It’s time to bring the power of simplicity into your businesses and see what happens when we cut the fluff and focus on the stuff.

Think of it this way: if you meet a curious rickshaw driver, and he asks, “Bhaiyya, what does your company do?”

Can you explain it before he’s done crossing the next red light?

If you go into TED Talk mode or start using words like “synergy” or “revolutionary,” I hate to break it to you, but you're losing him, hell you are even loosing yourself.

And worse, you're probably losing potential customers too. 😬

Why is this important?

If you can explain your business or product in one crisp sentence, you’re not just explaining it, you’re proving you understand it.

The truth is, every successful idea, from making dosa to designing a mobile app, can be boiled down to one compelling sentence.

Let’s be real, even Google could be summed up as “a search engine to find information fast.” That’s it!

Stupidpreneur’s are people who embrace unconventional ideas.
That’s it. It’s that simple.

Let’s do a little exercise: give yourself one minute to answer the golden question, “What does my business really do?” Start a timer, and only say the essentials.

If you can nail it, you’re on the right track. If not, it’s time to revisit what you're doing or how you're explaining it.

People don’t have the patience for fancy language; they need answers they understand instantly.

So, here’s my challenge to all of you: Explain your business in one minute. No jargon, no drama, just raw clarity.

And hey, if you nail it, drop your one-liner in the comments! (I sincerely hope you know how to comment on a newsletter 🌚)
