I thought people only bought what’s polished.

I couldn’t be more wrong and sometimes belief sells better than branding.

We were just catching up.

Me and a buddy. Two coffees. Zero agenda.

Midway through our conversation, he asked, “So what are you building these days?”

I told him about The Brand Engine.

Said I’m working on a course for founders, designers, and creators who want a no-fluff roadmap to branding, “It’s not ready yet though. Launching end of May.”

He paused. Nodded.

Then said something that caught me by surprise: “Cool. I’ll be the first customer if I pay right away?”

I laughed. Thought he was joking.

But he pulled out his iPhone.

And paid.

Right there. No pitch. No landing page. Not even a fancy mockup.

Just trust.

And I’ll be honest: I didn’t know how to react. I still don’t.

Because I used to think people only buy polished things.

Shiny launches. Viral trailers. Big promises.

But maybe that’s the old-school lie.

Here’s what I’m learning:

People don’t just invest in products. They commit to belief They back the builder. The vision.

The conviction that this is something worth waiting for.

That’s what The Brand Engine is turning into.

A project built with love, late nights, and a stupid amount of second-guessing.

A blueprint for brand builders who don’t want another “Instagram aesthetic” tutorial.

They want clarity. Confidence. Control.

And currently?

It’s real.

Even before launch.

Because one dude believed.

And many more followed.

I can’t control my excitement.

And I’m so grateful for the overwhelming support.
