Why One Idea Is Never Enough

Yes, it’s filling, but there’s no excitement!

Ever met someone who only talks about one business idea like it’s the love of their life?

News flash: Those guys are missing the whole point! Real Stupidpreneurs—the ones with brains going 300 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone—are working on at least three things at any given moment.

Why? Because we think big, and people who think big don’t just settle on one thing.

Think about it—how do we like our food? Spicy, tangy, salty, sweet… all at once, right? So why should our entrepreneurial journey be any different? If you’re just doing one thing, it’s like eating plain curd rice.

Yes, it’s filling, but there’s no excitement!

A real Stupidpreneur has ideas sizzling in every direction—selling t-shirts one day, opening a chai stall the next, and then thinking about a delivery drone service. The more ideas you have, the more spices you’re adding to your success curry.

You know that old saying: “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket”? Well, as Stupidpreneurs, we believe in keeping chickens in different baskets too!

Having multiple projects going means if one doesn’t hatch, another one probably will.

It’s not about being overconfident, it’s about covering your backside in case your “million-dollar” app turns out to be a “zero paisa” dud.

You know, classic jugaad.

Look at our desi role models—Ratan Tata didn’t stop with just one venture. From textiles to telecom, the man had his fingers in all kinds of samosas.

That’s because successful entrepreneurs don’t see their businesses as one-story buildings. They’re skyscrapers—each business is a floor. And you don’t build a skyscraper with just one floor, right? You stack those floors till you’re towering above the rest.

Let’s face it—working on one idea is boring! A Stupidpreneur has the attention span of a goldfish.

We need that constant switch-up to keep the brain buzzing. Why chase one butterfly when you can run after the entire jungle of possibilities?

In short, we don’t stick to one thing because we’re stupid, but because our brains are built to multitask, explore, and conquer!

So, if you’re still stuck on one idea, maybe it’s time to stop being ‘smart’ and start being stupid.

Now, go start that chai stall while you’re working on that billion-dollar app!
