Expect Nothing

What does it take to become a Stoic?

Ah, stoicism, the ancient philosophy that teaches us to expect zilch from life! (Zilch means nothing; none; no. It’s a word I learned today to make this fancier. 🌚)

Well, not exactly, but close enough.

It was popularized by the descendant of Marcus Aurelius, the only and only Ryan Holiday.

Picture this: you're cruising through life, embracing Stoic principles, when suddenly a wild opportunity appears.

You seize it with all your might, but instead of clutching desperately for some cosmic reward, you adopt the mindset of a Stoic business tycoon.

See, Stoicism teaches us to not think about the outcome and focus on what we can control—our actions.

In business, this means not obsessing over the results, but rather pouring our energy into creating something of value.

It's like launching a startup and being more concerned with building a product that will change society than dreaming of piles of money.

I mean, money is the diesel of a company. (I’ll say battery in a few years)

But that shouldn’t be the focus of the company.

And outside of business too, whenever you do something, Expect Nothing!

Expect Nothing from people, and you’ll immediately see a wave of happiness.

I started doing this a few years ago, and I can honestly say that I am significantly happier these days.

If you want a little motivation, you can buy the mobile wallpaper in my store.

See what I did? Shamelessly sold you something. 😂

But seriously, I only sell stuff that I actually use and like.

So beat it!
