Iron Man wins his Oscar!

And finally shakes down his “Superhero Syndrome”

The legend has won his first-ever Oscar, and all I can think is to see how he can become my godfather. Yes, Robert Downey Jr., after 50 years of acting, has finally got what he deserves.

He’s literally the guy who had 25 years of experience when he was 30. But he’s faced his fare share of problems, and it’s a story the whole world knows.

Apart from giving the greatest speech by any winner ever, RDJ has achieved something more than that meets the eye. He’s one of the greatest performers the world has witnessed. But it’s pretty common for someone to become a character when they get a superhero movie.

He embodied Iron Man and practically made Marvel what it is today. It’s hard to shake off a character like that. People don’t like seeing their hero differently.

For crying out loud, he was Iron Man for 10 complete years!

How can the world forget?

Before that, he did plenty of movies and some were just purely gold! He deserves an Oscar for Zodiac, Chaplin, Sherlock Holmes and the list goes on and on.

His last character Dr. John Dolittle, was a really nice attempt to shake his character down. But Lewis Strauss was the nail on the coffin.

He portrayed him in a way even the original Strauss would have been jealous of.

Through the years, we’ve seen plenty of amazing actors who got this “Superhero Syndrome” and it’s good to see Downey who has successfully shaken it off.

Just to leave you with one of RDJ’s famous lines, “I know very little about acting. I’m just an incredibly gifted faker.”

And a meme.
