Live an undocumented life
People were so fanatic about being liked by others that they created an entire function with the same name for amassing public approval.
Every day, two very certain things happen; the Sun rises, and you see social media posts of happy people that you know.
“Here I am in front of this ancient building. I have no idea what the history behind it is, but I am sharing it for the world to know, I have been here! Look at meeee!” — Every Unwritten Historical Monument Caption Ever.
We live in a wonderland of a world where dogs are treated as patrons sent from heaven and an act of random kindness toward a homeless is always done “on camera” with maximum people watching.
People were so fanatic about being liked by others that they created an entire function with the same name for amassing public approval.
This “like” fantasy is way beyond my understanding as to how can one be so childish, to seek, and believe me, seek leaps and bounds for public approval.
I saw one of my friends posting pictures of a "hashtag date night" with his girlfriend.
He had categorically mentioned that he was being blissful and enjoying, which is something he is supposed to be...isn’t he? A boyfriend is supposed to be happy with his partner.
What was lacking in that which you wished to make up by being seen and validated by a thousand people on your follower’s list?
People may use social media to seek validation and recognition, and in some cases, to make others jealous.
This can lead to a culture where individuals present themselves as public figures or "marquees," often at the expense of authenticity and genuine connection.
Social Media was supposed to be used for greater causes and bringing the world closer.
However, many of us are using these facilities to rub our lives on others' faces.
Btw, there is nothing wrong with sharing your date night photos. I just don’t like the guy. 😂
Real life is less on the internet. Meeting your close friends is much better than posting for random strangers.
Everything doesn't need to be posted or taken a picture of. Embrace the moment with the right people.
Spend time together.
Life isn't about showing your life to others, it's about living it.
I hope you’ll be able to add many new memories to your undocumented, unfiltered lives.
