The six dollar investment that changed how I build businesses
I used to dream of building a massive company.
The kind with sleek offices, fancy business cards, and a team so big I wouldn’t remember half their names.
Because that’s what success looked like to me.
Then I read The Minimalist Entrepreneur by Sahil Lavingia. And everything changed.

It wasn’t one of those "feel-good" reads.
It was more like getting punched in the gut — in the best way possible.
Sahil talked about building small, meaningful businesses. Ones you actually care about. Businesses that make a profit, not just noise. And for the first time, I realized I didn’t want to build a soulless empire.
I wanted to build something I’m proud of. Even if it’s small.
The biggest shift?
I stopped chasing growth for the sake of growth. I started thinking about how I could create something valuable, for people I genuinely want to help.
I’m not saying it’s easy.
But it’s worth it.
Funny enough, the book only cost me barely six dollars.
Six Dollars — and it changed the way I think about business forever.
It’s wild when you think about it.
People blow thousands on courses, coaches, and programs hoping for a breakthrough. Meanwhile, one book flipped my mindset upside down for less than the price of a pizza.
The truth is, you don’t need a million-dollar idea.
You need a business you care about.
A product people actually want.
And the guts to start small and stay small — at least until growing feels right.
Sahil says to build with the community first.
Make sure they care.
Then build the product, not the other way around.
I tried it.
It works.
No more trying to impress people with big numbers and pointless growth.
I’m done with the noise.
Small, profitable, meaningful.
That’s where the real magic is.
And to think — it all started with six dollars.
If you’re tired of chasing big, empty dreams and want to build something that actually matters, read The Minimalist Entrepreneur.
It might just change everything for you too.
