I was chatting with a friend of mine recently about my plans to launch the “Brand Engine” email course.
He’s a marketer, so he had a slightly different question for me.
“Why are you selling a course?”
Emphasis on why ‘a course’ and not… why am I ‘selling’?
It was a valid question.
After all… a lot of people sell courses on branding.
I told him what I’m about to tell you:
Most businesses don’t understand what a brand really is.
It’s not a logo. It’s not the color palette. It’s much more than a visual identity.
There’s a reason you remember some brands and never pay attention to the rest.
