So before we move further, I wanted to give you a taste of what the newsletter is actually about.

Before I wind up, I want to tell you a bit about me.

I'm Shashank, and I write about branding and startups in this newsletter. Everything I write here is my personal opinion from my deep experience in building multiple companies and consulting.

When I was in my final year of college, I co-founded El Mejor Coffee, which was India's first specialty coffee e-commerce store. I sold the company within 6 months, during which we did over thirty thousand in revenue.

Then during the NFT wave I co-founded a company called God Block, and I cannot give you the details about the business due to NDAs. We sold the company for 6 figures in less than 3 months.

And after acquiring Peak Shift, which is my first acquisition, I've done both --- sold and bought a company.

And a couple of years ago, I co-founded Happy Beginnings with my dad, which is India's first wedding invitation e-commerce store and the world's second. The company is doing really amazing in terms of revenue, and it takes me less than two hours a month to keep it in check.

A year ago I was headhunted for GUVI HCL, a vernacular ed-tech company, which made me the youngest Head of Brandin India. I was the lead that got GUVI its Guinness World Record for the "Most Users to Take an Artificial Intelligence Lesson in 24 Hours." I quit this February to pursue my goal of teaching people full time. Btw, this has been my only full-time job.

Currently I run this newsletter full-time and also run The Newsletter Company, an agency dedicated to helping companies and creators build a brand with newsletters and make it their biggest revenue source.

And like every entrepreneur, I have seen a lot of failures too. I've started up 13 times and failed miserably in 9 of them, selling two and actively running two more.

I'm really excited to write to you every single weekday from now on. Can't wait to share my learnings and learn from you as well.
